Who we are?

From  the humble beginning in the early 2000, Africa Initiative for Environment Sustainable Network (IFESNet – Africa) became a National Non – governmental, non – profit, non – religious and voluntary organization which initiative came as a result of pursuit to sustain environmental livelihood by a group of concerns for the improvement and development of our communities, youth empowerment and grassroot participation in areas of water and sanitation, environmental sustainability, environmental health, advocacy (transparence and accountability) oil and gas. With the internal organs put in place (Board of Directors, Directorate, coordinators and advisory members).

MISSION STATEMENT

IFESNet – Africa is dedicated to promoting the need for safe guarding water – eco system, environmental ill health and providing enabling environment for sustainable development and growth for the future generation bearing in mind that safe water is the “Bread of life”.

We aim to develop a good management system for safe and clean drinking water, good sanitation, and oil and gas benefit for communities concerned.

VISION STATEMENT

To mobilize resources, programme and campaign, to improve the standard of awareness in our communities for development and providing basic amenities for livelihood through grassroot participation, youth empowerment, environmental education literacy campaign, advocacy in the water sector reform programme communities.
