Stockholm Junior Water Prize

Organisers and Sponsors

In every participating country, SJWP co-operates with a national organisation to arrange SJWP trials. The national organiser has the responsibility of procuring sponsors for the contest and for underwriting the cost of the national winner’s travelling to Stockholm for the international competition.

The national organisers are responsible for arranging the national contests. This includes selecting projects, submitting applications and all communications with SIWI. Since the competition is held in English, it is of utmost importance that the contestants have good knowledge of the English language. If not, a person must accompany the finalists who knows the English language. This person is also responsible for attending the events where translation might be required.

The national organisers are responsible for, and shall pay for the marketing of the national contest and the international contest in its own country. The organisation shall engage sponsors in promoting the national contest and parts of the international contest after written consent of Stockholm Water Foundation.

For more information about your national competition, click on the flag on the
General page about the Stockholm Junior Water Prize. If your country is not listed, it means there is no national contest at this time.
